Description: Gillette Aristocrat #22 Made in England Vintage Rhodium Plated Gillette Aristocrat TTO (twist to open) Double Sided Safety Razor. Generation IV Rare and collectible shaver in fabulous condition. This is a #22 from the early 1950s and is Rhodium plated. The Gillette logo and “Made in England” on the back of the shaver head, with “Patent Pending” stamped on the blade tray. The razor weighs 73g. The head is very clean and tidy as is the blade tray. The TTO mechanism operates very smoothly.. Black faux leather case gold lettering and chrome trim with Blue velveteen interior and Sateen / satin lining on the lid, showing its age but opens and closes.
