Description: Calcite Ok, at least calcite is what I'm going with at the moment. This mineral is somewhat soft and can be scratched with quartz. I didn't do any other Mohs tests beyond that. The main crystal has really interesting form. I'm too rusty on my crystallography to be able to tell you what. The side crystal appears scalenohedral. The main crystal spans over an inch. Help me out here, please! Are you familiar with this material? Can you tell me the locality? Is this actually calcite? Let me know what you think. Or buy it and get a steal of a deal! fl-05 Generally, plexiglass bases seen in photos are not included. Please do not hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions. Pay particular attention to the size of the specimen before purchasing. I generally require immediate payment. Thank you for shopping! Feedback is greatly appreciated! Please reach out before leaving negative feedback. I will work with you to find a resolution to any problems.
