Used to inoculate freshly cut logs. Inoculated with spawn made with certified organic grains. Free shipping in the USA. Fresh cut hardwood logs should be used to prevent competitor fungi although it is best to allow the log to rest, off the ground after fresh cutting for 2-3 weeks prior to plugging. A bit from 5/16"-11/32" is commonly used including the metric 8.5mm in between. I sell combo packs with drill bits and wax for combined savings as well as both seperately. The holes are then commonly sealed over with wax although some people have success without this step. Made to order to ensure freshness, these sometimes will take approx 7-10 days to ship although I try to have some in stock ready to ship immediately, large orders of several thousand sometimes wipe out the immediately available inventory.
