Dining table is a carved hardwood base with elaborate metal stretcher, topped with a thick piece of glass with a finished "ogee" edge. Six solid hardwood Empire-inspired side chairs with rolled barks and a carved crest. Reeded front legs with silver gilt accents. A wheat colored coarse linen weave fabric covers the seat and back. Two striking armchairs with rolled arms and a striped fabric complete the set. This set cost $20,000 new. Please note we are selling the matching long console/buffet, tall display cabinet and mirror in our other listings. In excellent, near-mint condition. The glass is perfect, without damage or scratches. The table base is without any condition issues. The chairs are almost unused. The only issue is there are some minor, tiny spots on the two armchair seats. The six side chairs are immaculate - there is no wear or spotting. All are completely sound structurally. The padding is perfect. Measurements: Table Base: 61" wide, 36" deep and 29.25" tall. Glass top is 96" long, 50" wide and .75" thick. Arm Chairs: 25.5" wide, 32.5" deep and 41.5" tall.
