Description: Henry Morland (1716-1797) originally published this image as a mezzotint in 1773. In that form, it is a quite famous (and expensive) print. The version offered here is a 19th century revisitation of the Morland image. It is titled and has "(from Morland)" below the image. The publication line has likely been trimmed off. I have found a couple of examples of this version of the print online, and it appears that it may have been published somewhere between 1820 and 1840 by William Belch. An example of the 1773 Morland mezzotint can be seen in the collection of the British Museum. This print is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". For example, offered maps are of the period. Please check my other listings for additional items of interest. I will combine shipping.
