Description: Hispano-Moresque Majolica Large Glazed Earthenware Decorative Islamic Bowl Dish. Tin Glaze with Colorful Floral Designs. The bowl is 11-1/4” wide by 3-3/4” tall. Weight is 2 lb. 11 oz. Tin glazed made by Moorish potters in Spain. Narrow foot. Partial glaze to underside. Islamic Moorish style handcrafted bowl. There are three small visible spur marks inside of the bowl, indicating the stacking firing in the kiln. Please see photos. There are a few glaze breaks throughout bowl interior. No chips on the rim. I believe this is from the early 20th century.
