The 1938-39 Ford 'tear drop' tail light.This modern style 1938-39 Ford Tail Light contains 51 LED lights that allow for bright operation and high visibility. Low intensity for a running light and high intensity for stop and turn lights. The diecast chrome bezel includes a stylish 'crossbar' to emulate the Lincoln Zephyr tail light although this is smaller. These lights are 'flush mount' so they can be installed to any flat surface, but they are also designed to be a replacement for stock 1938-39 Ford Teardrop tail lights.....however, the mounting points are different. These mounting points being 5" apart. Overall length is 5 3/4" and is 2 3/4" wide.The 1157 contact plug allows the lights to hook up to existing light sockets although it is more common to cut off this plug and wire up in the normal way. Epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics. Sold as a Pair, including rubber body gaskets.
