Description: These are a super rare find. Delicate Japanese Dresden style ballerinas with intricate porcelain lace. These date almost over 100 years old. The brass metal bookend frames are in deco or art nouveau style. They have the geometric patterns but also the rounded lacy frames that hold the porcelain figures in. The glass is either purposely turned blue or it has naturally turned blue over time. The mirrors are removable and have been separated for shipping. There is a German Dresden hand painted dish with courting scenes flowers and onions that measures roughly 5” squared. It is marked with the GS Dresden marking and a stamp in the porcelain T 10. The stamp dates it from 1892-1914. The GS is supposedly Saxony Germany. Included are 2 other lace skirt ballerinas. One stamped Japan & the other Germany. The German one has a small anchor on the back of the base. There is a small girl on horse German porcelain figure. And a very beautiful hand painted Japan handled bud vase or oil ewer. The lacy figurines have been wrapped into boxes into a large flat rate. Perfect for vintage or Boudoir decorating. The bookends measure about 6 1/2” tall and each of the figurines average around 3-3 1/4” tall. The vase is about 6 1/4” tall. Open to offers.
