M- 1899 has a steel scabbard with 1 hanger ring.Missing locking device, leather finger loop and bottom half of grip.Antique - WW I era "Japanese/Russian" war sword.Surface rust throughout scabbard and steel hilt, in sound condition.Withdrawals well, in near complete condition with wear as shown.Sword is 37" long / 72123 stamped on ricasso / 5 stamped under grip.Blade has not been altered.Very well made historical piece !
