Description: This is a Japanese World War II Type 19 Kyu-gunto Sword which once belonged to 東外, a Japanese officer who served during or prior to World War II. Although these blades are not uncommon, this is one of the few signed blades in existence. Everything is original; the blade is in good condition for its age (it has a few nicks and some negligible scratches) and most of the chromium coating on the scabbard is still intact.
