Description: This item is an Antique J.B. Maxfield Three Gallon Ovoid Stoneware/Pottery Handled Jug. The Jug was made between 1854 and 1858 in Milwaukee. It is Salt Glazed with Cobalt Blue Decorations in what is called a Tulip Pattern. This is a used item that is in excellent condition. I took pictures in two different light tones in trying to get the piece represented well. There are no chips, cracks or repairs evident on this item. This item will be shipped double boxed and heavily insured so it will not be cheap to ship. Insurance will most likely add to the postage price as listed.....Please to look closely at pictures, because in the end they are your best way to determine condition. All items in pictures are turned clockwise or over in place to show the reverse or side view of the item. I will combine orders. The shipping costs are showing up a little high as I haven't quite got it together on figuring out postage accurately on/in the format now used (haven't sold in awhile). It may cost less to mail this item than listed. I will send Items as cheaply as possible and refund excess postage if it is over .50 cents in any case.
