Description: Made in the USA (Chicago, IL.) by JUSTRITE MFG., this vintage railroad lantern comes complete with it's metal handle and wire base. It works well and was tested with a brand new 6-volt battery that is required (and is included) and it measures approximately 11-5/8 " tall (from top of handle to the wire base and 7" wide at the widest portion of the metal handle. The battery housing (silver section) measures 3" x 3" x 5-3/4" and the bottom wire stand measurement is 4-1/2" wide (at it's widest base point). It's a very special example for any collector of railroad lanterns. *(Battery is included). It shows some wear and use including scratches and rusting and signs of aging but most important of all- "IT WORKS"!!!!!
