Note tear in corner of manual for Klonoa 1. Played and tested on NTSC-J PS1 (for Door to Phantomile) and NTSC-J PS2 (Door to Phantomile and Lunatea's Veil). Must have Japanese Playstations to play. Will not work on American PS3 either, as that is only region free for PS3 games, I tried it, and sadly it was incompatible. But the games play great on Japanese PS2 consoles, which I was happy to find are relatively easy to get, and tend to work with with American a/v and power connections.
