Description: Kenwood TS-B2000with RC-2000 Control Head The TS-B2000 is the headless variant of the TS-2000. This one comes with the Unobtanium RC-2000 remote control head. The radio offers all mode coverage HF+6m+2m+440 MHz at a nominal 100W output (50W on 440). It features a built-in HF antenna tuner, iambic keyer, and TNC with DX Cluster support. I have owned this radio since 2022. It was purchased to use as a dedicated data radio (RTTY, FT-8, etc), but I’ve found I don’t need to dedicate a separate radio to digital, so I’m selling this on to someone who can make better use of it. Note that this radio comes with the impossible to find RC-2000 control head. I haven’t seen one of those come up for sale on eBay since I bought this one. The rig functions fine for CW and SSB on all bands (see attached photos), and I have done some HF FT8 with it as well. The CW waveform looks very nice. (I tried attaching a video clip, but the web page keeps rejecting it.) There are no issued with the RC-2000. The case has scratched paint on both sides. The rig was obviously used as a mobile in a previous life, but there are no dings or dents in the case. The mobile mounting bracket is included, but got left out of the pictures. A hand mic and ~5 foot fused power cable with powerpole connectors are included. The RC-2000 control head comes with a ~25 foot control cable. These are great radios to use as a computer controlled remote rig, a dedicated data/digital radio, or as a trunk mounted mobile.
