Description: What it is: Rare, discontinued 9.8” axel “the man” trucks (*inverted kingpin*) from everyone’s favorite goofball black sheep truck company, Krux. Why it’s neat: You probably didn’t know this, but it is almost impossible to find anything about these particular trucks on the internet. Don’t feel bad tho, there’s really no reason for anyone to know this because it wouldn’t occur to a normal person to look up “kRuX tHe MaN tRuX 9.8 aXeL”. That’s just a me thing. Go ahead and try. Don’t worry, these trucks probably aren’t gonna be sold in the time it takes to bust a quick google. You’ll prolly just find this posting and maybe a result from EVO that will tell you they’re out of stock. I imagine they don’t put a lot of effort into updating that page. Now you know that, too. Now it’s an us thing. Neat, huh? What’s weird about it: Aside from just being Krux, and having a random ass 9.8” axel, I inverted the kingpin m’self. Right now it’s got grade 8, 3/8 - 24 button head hex bolts which I rounded off with a grinder. Why? Because I didn’t want to use any of my good kingpins. Anything I wasn’t using but didn’t want to throw way got slapped on these bad boys. They’re basically the junk drawer of trucks. The bushings are a Frankensteining of bones top cones and MAYBE the original barrel (more likely ACE tho. Hard to tell. They’re both white and greasy, just like their daddy) They’ve been grinded a little bit but not too terribly much. There’s some ware on one of the baseplates from some nose slides so know that going in. I cleaned them so they’d look good for their photo shoot. I hope you enjoyed the pics on this posting. They cost me like ten hundred bucks (dollars). I priced them at $150 because it’s funny to me. Feel free to pay it if you want but I’d probably make an offer.
