Description: MERLE HAGGARD hand-signed photo (very close to his last). Framed 8 & 1/2 X 11 from EPIC Records and sent to my father, Ken Kittinger when he was asked to make additional "Merle Haggard's Greates Hits" PLATINUM Awards. EPIC,RCA, SONY, MCA, etc. (all labels) would often have the artist sign promo photos to go along with the awards my father made which were sent to radio stations, DJ's and music industry VIP's. At the time of this posting, Merle's Greatest Hits award is also listed in my store. As a few of the photos show, my father was close to Merle. For decades, he and Merle were always together when Merle came to Nasvhille where Pop's gold record award shop was located on Music Row. Pop passed inb 2016 at a time when Merle was also very ill and hospitalized. They made sure they spoke on the phone every Friday evening. I (from Atlanta) was with Pop at the TN Veteran's Home on Friday, January 8th in 2016 when he and Merle talked for about a half hour. Pop passed the next morning and Merle left us shortly after.
