Description: IF grown well the oily iridescent blue of this fern is without equal in the plant world. That means good moisture and very low light. Just as epiphytic and lithophytic orchids, bromeliads and other ferns look ridiculous in pots, so does this one. Yes, these are relatively small specimens but they are much easier to work into a hole made into a log, rock or foam background. They will root nicely supporting the heavier larger leaves that come years later. I have not one but two at opposite ends of the 80 gallon in the dark corners and they compete for attention from some very formidable competition.
