The Mustard Habanero Heat = 150,000 - 325,000 SHU. Flavor = A wild, tangy, fruity flavor. A unique habanero taste. Look = Slightly wrinkled about 2" long and 1-2" wide. Starts out Green often with hints of purple stripes & shading, to a mustard-orange and ends up mustard yellow or fiery orange when ripe. Plants often show all color stages of peppers at the same time making a beautiful addition to any garden. Size = Plants can grow to 2-4 feet in height. A very high producer, highest pod per plant habanero I have yet to see. Uses = Excellent choice for salsa's, marinades, and hot sauces. This is the typical heat level the average person calls hot for Tex Mex type foods and spicy sausages & meat rubs. Dry and crush it into flakes or powder. A great condiment to have for guests that like spicy foods. This habanero goes well with lime flavor. Also grows well in containers and overwinters nicely. One of my favorite plants for look, unique taste, average heat, and high yield. Seeds are packaged in labeled zip lock bags. All seeds I list are open pollinated, non GMO, 100% organically grown in my own garden/farm. These are NOT from an outside seed bank source. From germination to final packaging is under my care and high standards. I do not use chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Care has been taken in planting and flower fertilization to keep the seed plants from cross species pollinating to maintain a purer variety.
