She was the eldest of six children and store purchased dolls were a luxury they could not afford. Such beautiful dolls were made in the 1930s and I started collecting these dolls around thirty years ago. Ruthie is unlike the vintage dolls in my collection, but she most definitely had to be added. My mom has since passed, I'm getting older, and now is the time for me to share this beautiful doll with you to enjoy! As you can see in the photos, this adorable American Girl Ruthie doll is new in box, has never been removed from her box, is all complete, and both the doll and box are in pristine clean perfect condition! I personally purchased her when she was introduced, she was retired in 2014. She has been properly and safely stored since purchased, just like new! Also included are Ruthie's authentic American Girl outfits; Play Outfit, Holiday Dress, and Satin Pajamas. All three outfits are also in brand new unused pristine condition, all retired in 2011.
