Description: Nippon Hand Painted Pink & Purple Floral Cobalt & Gold Pierced 11 1/8 Inch Plate Nice antique Japanese pierced edge porcelain plate. With hand painted pink and purple roses and small blue, pink, and orange flowers with gold scrolls. Cobalt blue border with gold scrollwork overlay. Gold gilding along the edge. Unmarked. Probably produced during the Nippon era of Japanese porcelain, circa 1891 to 1921. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 11 1/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
