Description: Up for sale here is this NOS vintage black Bakelite Alcon 8-pin octal top-chassis-mount vacuum tube socket. This is a nice vintage unused Made in USA socket, most likely from the 1960s. This has Alcon's EIA number stamped into the top, along with the letter "N." This is brand new and is guaranteed to work great for you. I have measurements in my pictures, but the holes are the standard 1.5" apart, the height is about 1/2" not including the pins, and 7/8" with the pins.
