Old BSA Boy Scout Vest & Shirt 120 Patches + Medals + Badges + 1944-2001 Lot

Description: This listing is the Vintage Boy Scout shirt and vest that you see in the photos. I purchased them together it in an estate sale where I was not told their history. I know very little about Boy Scout Collectibles so please forgive any mistakes I might make in my description. The label in the shirt says that it is a official large polyester and cotton Boy Scout shirt. When laid out like it is in the photo of the back, the vest measures close to 27 1/2 inches vertical by 20 inches wide at the bottom of the arm holes. The patches are sewn all the way around when they are not on top of another patch. In that case, they are sewn at the top. I do not know who made the vest or what the material is. It feels like it is very likely cotton. Not counting the red Indian head or the donkey head or the white arrowhead or pins or medals or bars or numbers or cities, I count 114 patches on the vest and 6 the shirt. There's some small rectangular things on the shirt that I think might be badges. There might not be any badges. I have counted the patches several times but because they are layered, my count might be off by one. Here is a list of the patches that are covered up partially with a few covered completely. The patches that are not covered are not listed. I dictated the list with a program so please forgive some of the words not being capitalized when they should be. The condition is much like you see it in the photos. There's a small dark discoloration near the donkey's head. I see one lose thread. The shirt looks clean outside of a darkening around the fold in the collar that I am guessing is from it being worn. . There are two bottom buttons missing on the shirt. The vest and patches etc. are clean and in excellent condition. Otherwise, these items are as shown. I guarantee these items be as described and represented by the photos. The photos are part of the description; please look at all of them. I allow three business days for shipping, but I usually ship the same or next day if possible. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors; different monitors may show different colors.
