Description: Onkyo Integra TA-2600 3-Head Stereo Cassette Deck PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY. NO RETURNS, This deck does not work correctly but has potential for someone looking for a project. It plays tapes somewhat okay right now and it may work fine as is for someone. It probably won't so it is being sold for parts or repair only and we are not accepting returns for any reason. So far we've thoroughly cleaned this unit, de-oxidized the record level, bias, and balance knobs, it has a new pinch roller (Made In House). It has "Make Do" belts that are the correct length but poor quality as we only use them to check if the deck will start up before fully tearing it down. We worked out several large dents in the top cover but a few smaller dents remain. We also painted the top cover Textured Black. What's wrong with the deck...It has bad flutter with some tapes but several tapes sounded okay. The plastic mounts that hold the back plate on against the capstan flywheel are broken off and have only been glued into place. Had we done a full restoration on this deck we would have used a plastic welder with staples to make a permanent repair. No electrical adjustments have been made.
