Original Artwork Framed Painting of Old Woman Artist Signed Vintage

Description: S. Shortall, Nevada Artist, Signed/Framed Vintage Watercolor & Ink Painting 1977 This painting was created by my friend's mother, Sandra Shortall.She passed away in 2014. She painted, sketched, and took photos quite a bit in her lifetime. This was one of her paintings, signed with her signature and the year 1977. I believe it was watercolor and pen/ ink, or possibly watercolor and pencil. The painting has quite a bit of detail and interesting character. I did not attempt to remove the painting from its frame to measure the outer boundariesof the paper which goes beyond the opening of the frame. This piece has been professionally framed.The framed piece measures approx. 25" L x 17" W . The part of the painting that is visible under the framed mat measures approximately 9.75" W x 18" L, but of course there is more paper that extends beyond the opening in the mat. Please see pictures with the ruler. My guess is that the artwork's paper is probably approximately 11 x 19, (though I did not remove the painting from the frame to measure it.) Although the painting appears to be in excellent condition, the frame does have some scuffs/ minor damage to the back and edges. The paper upon which the painting was painted may have a bit of discoloration due to age. The paper may have a bit of a rippling effect due to it being a watercolor. See pictures. I have done my best to portray the colors accurately.Color can vary across monitors and screens.
