Description: Original small antique map from 1885 of Beachy Head from an Admiralty Chart, measuring 155mm x 110 mm (6" x 4.25"), including borders. Excellent condition for age. The map has been carefully extracted from an unusable and dis-bound volume of the renowned Universal Geography by Elisee Reclus and trimmed. Slight yellowing of the page although some ageing and wear is inevitable for paper nearly 140 years old. It has unrelated print on the reverse side. If desired, the map can be scanned to produce a larger print for framing. Please note: this is an original antique map extracted from a book and is not a reproduction.
