(2) Screening Invitations and (2) Screening Programs for STAR WARS “THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK” motion picture held Wednesday May 21st, 1980. Vintage/Original. This special screening was for individuals in the motion picture industry and was held at Samuel Goldwyn Theatre, the Academy, Beverly Hills, California. The Samuel Goldwyn Theatre is a screening-only movie theater named after filmmaker Samuel Goldwyn. It is located at 8949 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California, the headquarters of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). The Academy uses this theater each January most years to announce the nominations for its Academy Awards. The programs are triple-fold type cards measuring 8.5’ x 11’ folded and 34” x 11” opened. Eight pages in total on polished paper. These items were part of his vast collection. These are beautiful pieces of movie memorabilia in beautiful condition perfect for framing. These items have been stored well for all these years.
