Description: vintage oversize MCM chess set is handmade. Designed and made in the 1960s, this chess set has a retro/atomic style. READ: chess set is ONE OF A KIND, because it was handmade by a home craftsman. There is some wobble to several of the pieces. The wood post that runs through each piece is sticking a bit too far out of the bottom of the piece. It looks like this can be fixed by pulling up the felt and filing down the excess wood. Super interesting set— just needs some TLC OF-cl-L
