Description: This sale is for a beautiful bamboo 12" root section (rhizome) Phyllostachys Aurea 'Koi' is a rare bamboo with a unique appearance that makes a great choice for a screen. The culms of this species are yellow with a green stripe in the sulcus groove; patterned striping alternates sides up and down the canes. The canes also have internodal length variations and occasional bulging giving them a ?knobby? appearance. Along with the canes, the leaves have occasional variegation and low-growing limbs.'Koi' is the inverse color of another bamboo we sell Phyllostachys Aurea 'Flavenscens Inversa' and complement each other when planted together. It also does well as a container planting and is an excellent choice for use in crafting projects.
