RARE ANTIQUE 1865 EXTRA H Disston & “Son.” London Spring Steel/Applewood Saw #9

Description: For your consideration is this antique “Extra Henry Disston & Son. Keystone Saw Works Philadelphia London Spring 9 Warranted Refined Hand Saw. This was part of my late father’s tool collection. Unfortunately, I never asked him to teach me about any of his various hobbies, tools, fishing gear, gun collection ect. It’s now just my very elderly mother and me, her old daughter, lol. Years ago I made VERY ignorant expensive lessons when I sold my father’s antique ammo, knife collection. I’m now attempting, 6 years later to go through his old tools to sell on ebay. I apologize if I’ve labeled things incorrectly. I looked up how to measure saw ( see photos), & information regarding this saw. The last two photos are the Disston website where i got the information regarding this saw. It was Disston & Son. on this particular saw not sons because it was only one son initially. It was also when they first etched the disston label on blade. The saw was dusty and had lint stuck to it. I started to wipe it down, then stopped,for fear I might ruin it, so It needs a good cleaning but I’m leaving that to the buyer. Considering it’s over 100 years old is absolutely amazing! I remember my Dad would only buy or want for gifts tools made in the US, Wow! now i know and appreciate why. what a difference in quality.
