It combines an easily identified Nurse Call but- ton and TV control button, both embossed in Braille, a speaker for listening to TV and nurse call au- dio, a microphone for the patient to communicate to the nurse call system, a large thumbwheel vol- ume control, and two (2) controls for room lighting. The Tilt/Release DIN receptacle allows for ease of disconnecting the Pillow Speaker from the patient station.
