RCDM Carbon Fiber PLA Front Bumper For The Axial Jeep FC Crawler Body / SCX10

Description: Hello Folks! I am offering up an RCDM (RC Don Manufacturing) custom made 3D printed carbon fiber PLA composite front bumper for the Axial Jeep "Mighty" FC 1/10 scale crawler body (AXA31268). I designed this bumper to accent my Jeep FC body and give it a custom scale appearance that is like no other. This bumper does a great job of protecting my rig from rock damage as well as look like the scale bumper of a Jeep FC concept vehicle.This bumper is made from a new space-age carbon fiber PLA thermoplastic that is strong and lightweight. This new sought-after composite material has real milled carbon fiber added to the PLA plastic which when extruded makes a super tough part that can't be manufactured any other way than with 3D printing. This is cutting edge stuff here and I am proud to be able to offer this technology in one of my proven designs! This bumper design also features replaceable tow shackle anchor points (see pictures) which allow the user to easily remove and replace worn or broken anchors on the trail. Just remove the two screws from under the bumper, slide out the old anchor plates, install new ones and replace the screws. It's that easy. This bumper comes with two sets (two left, two right) of spare anchor plates (although I have yet to wear my original set out so you may never use them). The gray tow shackles in these photos are NOT included in this auction.This bumper will accommodate two small light buckets and a winch (both of which are NOT included in this auction). There are four 2mm holes (3.5mm deep) that are pre-formed into the bumper for an Integy 1/10 scale winch (cat #C24659BLACK) or you can drill new holes for a different style of winch if you like. The bumper also has a wire channel (see photos) on the driver's side to help conceal your light or winch wires into the bumper for a cleaner installation. Once you train your wires into the channel you can secure them with hot glue.Get your RCDM scale FC front bumper to protect your RC investment and improve scale appearance !!! lt takes us over 10 hours to print and assemble each bumper assembly!Note: This bumper is available in two versions: a 40mm (center to center) bumper post spacing (RCDM056) and a 43mm bumper post spacing (RCDM057). Be sure to check which version you will need for your bumper mount. The 40mm version is compatable with Axial SCX10 version 1 "Rubicon G6" older style front bumper mounts. The 43mm version is compatable with some late model SCX10 V1 bumper mounts and all SCX10 V2 bumper mounts. The 40mm bumper is NOT compatible with the SCX10 version II or Honcho/Dingo bumper mounts which have 43mm center to center receiver holes. You will need the 43mm version (RCDM057) OR to install a Rubicon G6 front bumper mount on your SCX10 V2 if you wish to use the 40mm bumper.This auction is for 1 black 3D printed carbon fiber PLA composite bumper assembly (including custom machined aluminum bumper posts and hardware) and two sets (two left, two right) of spare anchor plates (RC rock crawler vehicle, winch, shackles and bucket lights in pictures is not included).All of my 3D printed parts are made right here in the USA on American Made FDM type printer machines.
