Description: 19c Mahogany and brass inlaid regency period bracket clock dating to C1820. The 8 day five pillar twin fusee movement with shaped shoulders and engraved border backplate is in super condition having been cleaned and polished ans in fine working order. It strikes the hours on a cast bell. The movement has its pendulum holdfast and also the bob is engraved. The 8 inch dial retains the original painted finish which is in good order and has roman numerals and blued steel hands with thick glass and cast brass bezel. The mahogany case is a lovely colour with nice patina with all brass inlay intact and a lovely gadrooned top. Standing on original brass ball feet which are adjustable. Measuring 20 inches high to top of finial[50cm] and 16.5 without finial x 11 ins wide[28cm] x 6.5 ins deep[16cm]. A handsome looking clock from the regency period and in good working order.
