Description: Buy with Confidence from Skwerl's Comics Emporium! Hi there! Alright, here's my deal: Unlike a lot of eBay sellers, I will stand by my grades. I've been buying & selling for 35 years, and my reputation is important to me. I've submitted thousands of books to CGC, and they always come back with the certified grade I expected, plus or minus 0.5. If you buy a Near Mint comic from me, you will get a Near Mint comic. No funny business. Every book I sell, I've opened and checked for "hidden" issues like detached pages or cut-outs. I promise. And I price my books reasonably. I spend a lot of time making sure my books' conditions are properly assessed, and making sure they're properly priced. That leaves me less time to tinker with the eBay listings, especially since most of what I sell, I sell in person out of my living room. So when listing books on eBay, I typically throw them up super quickly, with just one photo, and simple descriptions. If you want more photos or details, no problem! Just ask! Rather than take every single comic back out of the bag for a photo shoot when I want to put it on eBay, I wait for someone to request photos. Then I'll upload more for everyone to see. That means I'm not spending extra time on books there's no interest on. And not handling any valuable books more than I need to. Cool? Cool. That said, please look closely at the photo(s) I have up. If there are notable issues, I will always note them on a sticker on the bag, but I may not note them in the description. Everything I sell is freshly bagged and boarded, with color-coded stickers on the outer bag: GREEN LABEL: 7.5 OR BETTERYELLOW LABEL: 3.0 TO 7.0RED LABEL: BELOW 3.0PINK LABEL: 3.0 OR BETTER, QUALIFIED This is essentially like CGC's green label. For example, I have several silver age books that are in great shape aside from binder holes straight through the entire book. My approach is that the number grade will give you a good idea of what shape the comic is generally in, but the asking price will always be in line with a 1.x grade, if it's a pink label. Yes, I combine shipping! I ship fast (usually same day), via USPS Priority unless otherwise specified/selected, and your comics will always have multiple layers of protection in transit. You will never get a comic in a flimsy envelope from me. I expect your mailman to handle the package like the Nintendo Paperboy.
