Description: Sampler Quilt #8 ~ 46” x55” ~ Lap/Wall hanging ~ This colorful unique sampler quilt was made with an assortment of 100% cotton Civil War Reproduction style fabrics. I used a medium red with florals print fabric for the outer border.The backing is also the same medium red with florals print fabric. The batting is 100% cotton Warm n’ Natural and I have hand guided machine quilted this with a rust color thread in an all over,edge to edge abstract design. The double fold binding has been machine sewn to the front then hand stitched to the back. I have included a 2.5” wide rod pocket along the top edge using the same backing fabric for anyone who would wish to hang this quilt. This quilt has been created in my smoke free home studio.This quilt may be machine laundered on cool/gentle settings,mild soap,no bleach.
