Description: Here is a rarity. Original pine decking from the ss Nomadic, the last surviving White Star Line ship not on the sea floor. She was, of course, built as a tender for RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic. This thick section of decking was acquired directly from the ship by the officers of the Nomadic society over a decade ago. They then passed it on to me. Made by the same men from the same sources at the same time as the decking on Titanic. There is none left on the ship as nearly all of it was rotten by the time she got to Belfast. Very tough to acquire. This will come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by me. Measures about 8" x 2.5" x 1.75". Priority mail shipping.
