Description: THE ART: "Mountain with 2 Trees" Copyright 2017 The two trees meet and intertwine. The design behind this window is that each tree represents a person, together they interweave because of the way we touch each others' lives. These two flowing trees have been created for wedding, anniversary gifts, birth of a child, any occasion. This window features cool colors, a blue cathedral background glass with a green and blue border, and a iridized moon. 3-D brass leaves are handout and added to create the leaves. The original mountain image is hand cut and sandblasted.Panel Size 10" X 22.50" (approx.) Personalization available- Please specify quote, wedding date or family name. The window can be left with mountain image only, or a name and special date can be sandblasted to the bottom to create a unique heirloom gift. This can be done with the names of a bride and groom and a wedding date or a quote. We have had customers choose a special poem, a musical lyric to add that special meaning. TO ORDER PERSONALIZATION:For personalized names or quotes, simply purchase the window and add the type under NOTES. You will receive a proof for your approval. THE PROCESS:First, Linda chooses each piece of glass for beautiful color and drama. Additional glass is chosen to add texture and sparkle to the design. In a time extensive process, one by one, each piece of glass is hand cut, fitted, wrapped in foil or lead came and soldered. Linda hand cuts the mountain to be sandblasted. The window is buffed, inspected, cleaned and waxed before it ever gets to the shipping stage. The window is framed in sturdy zinc with hooks included at the top. The completed window is hand packed in our unique shipping method.This panel is built with the copper foil and lead came technique with a sturdy zinc frame and then buffed and polished with glass wax. THE ARTISTS:About the Artists: Robert Neely and Linda Hiatt-Neely have bachelor's degrees in fine art and have been designing stained glass gifts and windows for since 1985. Linda received her master's degree in 2011 from Lesley University. SHIPPING:The item is packaged very carefully for the safest delivery. We use Federal Express and have worked with them to design an expert shipping method that has a guarantee the glass will be delivered safely. (See diagram of our method of shipping layers.) We use specialty foam, bubble wrap and recycled packing cushion using recycled newspaper end rolls. We are proud to know the money we spend on newspaper packing goes directly back into our local schools to fund education programs.
