Description: SUPER RARE! This Sun Record is missing in nearly every Sun Record collection. This doesn't need any introduction, by any reckoning, SUN 207 by the Prisonaires is a mysterious record. Recorded May 8, 1954 at the Tennessee State Prison, only one run of 300 copies were pressed. Only a handful were sold, the remaining copies were destroyed. I can only find 3 legitimate sales of this record in the last 29 years, it is that RARE! I bought this in 2021, this was then the 3rd sale. I grade it a strong VG as it was graded then, and play grade is VG++ and labels are Mint- as shown. A lot of shine remains and there are some minor scuffs consistent with the VG grade. One long needle scratch in the dead wax on the "What'll You Do Next" side shown in the last picture, Over half of that side is dead wax as the song was less then one minute thirty seconds long. Record will be securely double boxed. Good Luck! P.S. Check out my SUN 196 I have listed now, It is also Rare and very hard to fine!! NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS, SORRY NO EXCEPTIONS! THIS RECORD WOULD NOT SURVIVE IN ONE PIECE EBAY'S INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND PACKING. THEY HAVE LOST TWO OTHER SHIPMENTS OF MINE AND I WASN'T REIMBURSED!!
