Description: SMD/SMT Soldering Practice Circuit Board Kit -Runway Lights This is a board I designed for those who are learning how to solder surface mount parts and want to get a little practice. There are 147 parts to be placed on the board. 90 resistors, 5 resistor networks, 10 capacitors, 10 transistors, 20 LEDs, 10 diodes, 1 555 timer chip, and 1 CD4017 decade counter/divider chip. A reference is on the back of the board to help with identifying the parts. Once power is applied to the power pads (5 to 12 volts dc provided by you), 2 rows of LEDs will cascade up from near the bottom in a fashion resembling a set of runway lights. If you are new to SMD/SMT soldering, I highly recommend watching some videos on the web. This helped me tremendously with learning different techniques.
