The set is luxuriously organized into 9 separate clamshell boxes, each with its own booklet and documentation, the whole enclosed by an outer box. For the many collectors of the sovereign art of this greatest of twentieth century pianists, this is the most comprehensive single source of Richter’s studio recordings released on the Philips and Decca labels. Of the 9 separate boxes within this set being offered here, 2 are sealed (Schumann, Beethoven II). The 7 remaining boxes are unsealed and mint. They show no signs of having been handled or played. The large box enclosing the entire set, is also in unused, mint condition. This set, received as a gift, is being sold due to extensive duplications with other single recordings in my collection.
