Starbuck.A balloonist is keeping up with this first iron hulled ship built in America. Perhaps the balloonist will report if they spot any near-by whale pods, looking for the birds! ================================================= All work done by Keith A. Henry Please look closely at the pictures, as much care was given to fine detail. The wood on the butt ends is Oak and Mahogany, hand glued and hand rubbed with Tung-nut oil to a soft, almost flat, finish. The bill surface has a very fine, 'smooth-as-glass' texture which allows for beautiful expression. The underside, (which is really the top side) of the sword is smooth and clean. This particular swordbill is the entire bill formation. Very solid! There has been absolutely no noticeable degradation of ink in more then 35 years, A clear gloss coat of Grumbacher 'fixative' may be added for superior protection in severe environments, please inquire.Free DISPLAY BOARD included, specifically designed and fitted to this sword bill. Made of 1-3/4" of solid Red Mahogany. Powerful Earth Magnets hold the sword perfectly in place, accurately balanced and ready to hang. Please keep in mind these lines are all drawn free-hand, and a magnifier is used throughout the process.OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOArtist Keith A.
