We selected one of over 100 photographs of mountains, made a letterpress, and printed it on a letterpress. While adjusting the amount of ink and pressure, the ink gradually became darker and darker, until it was completely black at the end. The darkest one was printed 10 times over. The finished product is then imported and offset printed. However, it is not possible to express the blackish texture of letterpress printing with normal one-color smudging, so we use three-color black printing, varnishing, and an elaborate printing process using seven printing plates.
