Crimson cloth bound with guilt detailing. With stunning illustrative plates taken from the very first edition. Lovely used antique condition, with signs of wear in keeping with age. Including lots of marks and wear to the cover as well as some light bleeding to the backboards, spine very dirty with some creasing. Pencil dated inscription 1923 on front flyleaf. Booksellers sticker on front backboard. Front 4 papers loose from binding. Some age spotting throughout the book and what I think may be watermarks around the edges of the first handful of pages. Overall considering age and dainty size this book is in overall 'Good' condition.
