Bound in publisher's deep sky blue cloth, gilt lettering imprinted to front board, spine plain. Semi-glossy white dj with blue lettering, t-o-c to back, spine shows publisher as Keystone (not mentioned in volume, interestingly). Plain white endpapers. Coated pp; Iv pp prelim material, 159 numbered plus one. Author's bio/photo by his wife, intro, major feasts (Part I) and lesser feasts (Part II), all with explanatory text of the feast's significance, their troparion and kontakion, some accompanied by unattributed b&w icons; dates given in both Old and New Style; acknowledgements. Condition notes: dj is unclipped but heavily worn with numerous chips and tears to both top and tail, and is rather toned, with some staining. Boards retain bright color to both cloth and lettering; corners bumped, spine ends rolled, but all tight and square. General tanning to all pages. Former owner's name in pen neatly to top front free endpaper, else free of markings. Manuscript reviewed by Rev Alexander Schmemann, and approved for publication by His Eminence Most Rev Ireney, Metropolitan of the Russian Orthodox Church of America. The author was born in Minneapolis and, in the same city, attended Orthodox Missionary School and graduated from the Russian Orthodox Seminary.
