Description: This is "The Private Press Ventures of Samuel Lloyd Osbourne and RLS" by James D. Hart, in a limited edition of 500 copies published by the Book Club of California in 1966. This copy is signed by the author on the RFEP. This edition features the story of a hand printing press set up and run by Robert Louis Stevenson and a young friend of his in the 1880's. There are illustrations, and a collection of 11 facsimile printings in an envelope attached to the RREP. Condition of this book is Very Good Minus, showing dampstains along the interior hinges and endpapers, not extending into the interior pages. The cloth covering the rear board is rumpled in several places, and a few of the facsimile prints that are staple-bound show some rust to the staples. One of the facsimile printings shows some rumpling to the paper. Please see my other signed editions.
