This book, the first she wrote in the Conflict of Ages series, provides an exhaustive overview of biblical history from creation to the time of King David. Originally published in 1890, it was reprinted several times in the following decades, including in these gorgeous 1923 editions.Each one has its own distinct style. The black version would be ideal for someone who wants a copy that would look fabulous on a bookshelf, as the leather spine with gold gilding has a wonderful contrast and still looks bright. However, it's a bit more worn as indicated in the Condition Description. The green version still looks lovely, albeit not as striking as the black leather on a shelf, and it would make a great reading copy since the pages are in excellent condition.
