Description: THANK YOU FOR VIEWING MY AUCTIONS :~) Items shown below the Sunset are listed within my other items for sale on eBay MY Starting bid is almost 1/2 of what I have had this listed for - Here is a chance to either bid and win OR Buy it now ;~0 This listing is for a SHERPA Brand ( logo on both sides )Tibetan Buddhist Handcrafted Spinning Prayer Wheel Wall Hanging unusual Solid Wood Free Standing PRAYER WHEEL with slot for Picture above It took me a bit of time to figure this one out -I am not an expert on everything but when I saw thisat the sale - I was determined to find out what it was This is made with solid full 3/4" Thick wood and has a dark stain like walnut but their variety - the base measures 4" by 15.1/2 and stands 2" Thick at the top 17" Tall the Prayer Wheel measures about 3.1/4" wide and 4.1/4" Tall suspended in the center with a metal rod The slip in picture frame above with hold an image of 5 x 5.3/4 with a 5.5/8" slot opening on the top - there are 4 slat openings and it can be used as a divide as there are 2 sides that look the same “In old Tibet, everywhere you looked, you saw people, particularly older people, spinning prayer wheels from morning to night, while reciting the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra (a Tibetan prayer composed of Sanskrit power words) to relieve the misery of all beings,” — His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya in a commentary on Prayer Wheels.
