Description: Uncle Toms Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe and illustrated by R.R. Russell from Collins' Clear-Type Press from London and Glasgow. Inside the first page it states "To my dearest Hubert from his loving father" dated March 6th, 1910. Hubert A.M. Marno. It has several color pictures throughout the book. I am not an expert on books. Compared to other books we have had & see at antique auctions, I would consider this book to be in good condition. It is not in excellent condition; it is not in mint condition or exceptional condition but in good overall condition. It has some fauxing a few pages and I mean a few, three or four. The binding is good. The front and back covers are in good condition and all of the pages are in good condition and very readable without any torn, folded, creased or missing pages. I could not find a date in this book showing what date it was published and the Great Almighty eBay would not let me list it without a date, so therefore I put in 1909 to please eBay. I do not have any idea what year this book was published but I do know it was before March 6th, 1910, according to Mr. Marno. The size of the book is about 8" X 5 1/4" and about 1 1/2" thick. My wife bought this book more than 20 years ago at an antique auction loaded with items from Scotland. She has a coffee table with a glass top & drawer underneath the top to display different items in. Insured shipping with be $15.00.
