Description: Authentic Presidential Service Badge - Transitional We are offering a beautiful strike of the Presidential White House Service Badge, Transitional, short lived, and for support of the white house and president. In 1964 President Johnson eliminated the White House service badge of President Kennedy. This is the first badge to be produced after the WHSB. This is a transitional badge as later the eagle was turned gold and the stars were added. This is a superimposed badge, and rare because these badges had to be turned in upon completion of a tour of duty. In excellent original condition. A rarity of a badge, this is a very heavy pocket badge. Badge can easily be removed from the case if desired.
