Description: The knife has typical dark spots and pitting. The knife is sharp and has scratches. The bone scales are not cracked or split and they are securely attached to the liners. It has firm snap. The Gesco Cutlery co. from what I have found online was an importer of knives from Japan and Ireland based in Orange Park Florida. Most sites estimate these were brought over during the 1970's. I was unable to find when they started or if they are still in business. The knife is a Large Barlow pattern and it is 5 inches long when closed. The tang is stamped " GESCO " with " JAPAN " below and a " 24 " on the pile side.
