Description: Vintage Italian Blue Colnago Master 57cm Columbus Steel Gilco Design Road Bike Frame & Fork Vintage Italian Colnago Master Racing Road Bike Frame and Fork with the Unique Gilco Profile S4 Columbus Tube Set. This Colnago was a high end road bike all built up in Campagnolo Record parts and I think it's from 1987. The size 57cm, I believe Colnago sizing is center to top. Actual Size is: Seat tube 55.5m Center to Center or 57cm Center to Top with a 55.5cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 140mm tall. Frame is Unique shaped Gilco Design G4 Profile Columbus Steel with the characteristic star-shaped tube cross-section with Campagnolo Dropouts. The 1" Threaded Fork has 100mm Spacing and the Frame has 130mm Rear Spacing. The wheel base is approximately 99.5cm drop out center to fork drop center. Rear Chain stay measured from center of bottom bracket to center of rear chain stay drop out is approximately 42cm. Serial is E6xx and from research and part dating I suspect it's from 1987. Frame & Fork is Italian Standard. Frame Set is Used, It's pretty, Nice original paint, some nicks & scratches, decals in pretty nice shape, chrome has some rust light peppering and corrosion, Derailleur side rear stay has a good amount of nicks with touch up, used but survives well. Plenty of Pictures to mull over. What's here for sale weighs a bit under 6 pounds. This frame had racing 700c wheels with tubular tires, Not Included but for wheel size reference.
